2021 Paris–Roubaix (women's Race)
The 2021 Paris–Roubaix was a road cycling one-day race that took place on 3 October 2021 in France. It was the 118th edition of Paris–Roubaix and the 28th event of the 2021 UCI World Tour. The race was won by Italian Sonny Colbrelli in a sprint finish. Teams All nineteen UCI WorldTeams and six UCI ProTeams participated to the race. 2021 UCI World Tour
The 2021 UCI World Tour was a series of races that included twenty-nine road cycling events throughout the 2021 cycling season. The tour started with the opening stage of the UAE Tour on 21 February, and concluded with Il Lombardia on 9 October. Events The 2021 calendar was announced in the autumn of 2020. Cancelled events Due to COVID-19-related logistical concerns raised by teams regarding travel to Australia (including strict quarantine requirements), the Tour Down Under (19–24 January) and the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race (31 January) were cancelled. The organisers of the Tour Down Under held a "domestic cycling festival" known as the Santos Festival of Cycling in its place, which featured races in various disciplines (including a National Road Series event). Paris–Roubaix Femmes
Paris–Roubaix Femmes is a one day women's bicycle race on cobbled roads (or pavé) in northern France, held annually in early April. It is part of the UCI Women's World Tour. The equivalent men's race is a cycling monument, and after the Tour of Flanders and Liège–Bastogne–Liège, is the third to stage a women's edition. History Paris–Roubaix is one of cycling's oldest races, and was first held in 1896. The announcement of the inaugural women's edition of Paris–Roubaix came as a surprise addition to the revised 2020 UCI Women's World Tour calendar. Heinrich Haussler (born 25 February 1984) is an Australian road racing cyclist of German heritage, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . He has won 2 stages in Grand Tours during his career, one at the 2005 Vuelta a España and another at the 2009 Tour de France. He is also a good Classics specialist, registering top results in notable classic races, and was the 2015 Australian national road race champion. Guillaume Boivin
Guillaume Boivin (born 25 May 1989) is a Canadian professional road racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Career Boivin's greatest cycling accomplishment was finishing in a dead heat for the bronze at the World Under-23 Road Race Championships in 2010. He finished 3rd in the 2012 Tro Bro Leon, getting on the podium with his teammate Ryan Roth, who won the race. In October 2014, it was announced that Boivin would leave Cannondale and ride with in 2015. On 29 April 2015, on the first stage of the Tour of the Gila, Boivin was the last man remaining of a breakaway that was caught by eventual solo winner, Rafael Montiel. Wout van Aert (born 15 September 1994) is a Belgian professional road and cyclo-cross racer who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . He won the men's elite race at the UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships in 2016, 2017 and 2018. He joined in March 2019, on a three-year deal after terminating his contract with in 2018. Christophe Laporte (born 11 December 1992 in La Seyne-sur-Mer) is a French cyclist who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Laporte was a member of from 2014 to 2021. He was named in the Team Cofidis start list for the Tour de France for seven consecutive years between 2015 and 2021, completing all but one of them. Yves Lampaert (born 10 April 1991) is a Belgian road racing cyclist, who rides for UCI WorldTeam . Career Lampaert practiced judo from the age of six, earned a black belt, but at the age of 17 started training in cycling. He rode at the 2014 and 2015 UCI Road World Championships. Gianni Moscon (born 20 April 1994) is an Italian professional cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . He competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics, in the road race.
