2021 Northwestern Wildcats Baseball Team
The 2021 Northwestern Wildcats baseball team was a baseball team that represented Northwestern University in the 2021 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Wildcats were members of the Big Ten Conference and played their home games at Rocky Miller Park in Evanston, Illinois. They were led by sixth-year head coach Spencer Allen. Previous season The Wildcats finished the 2020 NCAA Division I baseball season 6–6 overall (0–0 conference) and ninth place in conference standings, as the season was cut short in stages by March 12 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Preseason In October, 2020, the Wildcats announced the addition of Charlie Tilson to the coaching staff as a volunteer assistant. Spencer Allen (baseball)
Spencer Allen is an American baseball coach and former second baseman. He played college baseball at Green River College from 1997 to 1998 before transferring to Iowa State from 1999 to 2001 for head coach Lyle Smith. He then served as the head coach of the Northwestern Wildcats (2016–2021). Playing career Allen attended Capital High School in Olympia, Washington. Allen played for the school's varsity baseball team for three years. He was named a First Team All-Conference selection as a sophomore while playing the outfield. Allen then enrolled at the Green River College, to play college baseball for the Green River Gators baseball team. As a redshirt freshman in 1998, Allen was named a 2nd Team All-Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges. Springboro High School is a public high school in Springboro, Ohio, United States, with a total of over 2,000 students and 120 teachers. The Springboro Community City School District serves the city of Springboro and parts of Franklin, Clearcreek, Wayne, and Turtlecreek townships. Windward School
Windward School is an independent school in the Mar Vista neighborhood of Los Angeles, California, accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. It was founded by writer/teacher Shirley Windward in 1971. The school currently enrolls 625 students in grades 7 through 12. History In 1971, two former Paul Revere Middle School teachers, Carl Parsons and Shirley Windward (for whom the school is named), founded the school in order to open up their classes to young people on the West side of Los Angeles.
