2021 Men's EuroHockey Nations Championship
The 2021 Men's EuroHockey Championship was the 18th edition of the Men's EuroHockey Championship, the biennial international men's field hockey championship of Europe organised by the European Hockey Federation. The tournament was held alongside the 2021 Women's EuroHockey Nations Championship, women's tournament at the Wagener Stadium in Amstelveen, Netherlands and was originally scheduled to take place from 20 to 29 August 2021. However, following the postponement of the 2020 Summer Olympics to July and August 2021 because of the COVID-19 pandemic the tournament was rescheduled and took place from 4 to 13 June 2021. The top five teams qualified for the 2023 Men's FIH Hockey World Cup, 2023 FIH Hockey World Cup. Amstelveen

The Germany men's national field hockey team is one of the most successful sides in the world, winning gold at the Summer Olympics four times (including once as West Germany), the Hockey World Cup 3 times, the EuroHockey Nations Championship eight times (including twice as West Germany) and the Hockey Champions Trophy ten times (including three times as West Germany). Chris Griffiths (field Hockey)
Christopher Griffiths (born 3 September 1990), known as Chris Griffiths, is an English field hockey player who plays as a forward for Old Georgians and the England and Great Britain national teams. He competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics. Biography Griffiths joined East Grinstead in May 2014 ahead of the 2014–15 season, having previously played for and captained Loughborough Students. While at East Grinstead he represented England at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast. In 2020, Griffths joined Old Georgians in the Men's England Hockey League Premier Division. He was selected to represent Great Britain for the delayed 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo and won a bronze medal with England in the Men's tournament at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham. Zachary Wallace
Zachary Andrew David Wallace (born 29 September 1999) is an English field hockey player who plays as a midfielder or forward for Dutch Hoofdklasse club Bloemendaal and the England and Great Britain national teams. He competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics and 2024 Summer Olympics. Biography Wallace was educated at Kingston Grammar School, Kingston-upon-Thames before joining Whitgift School, South Croydon, London in the 6th form. He started his hockey career with Surbiton in the Men's England Hockey League Premier Division. Phillip Andrew Roper (born 24 January 1992) is an English field hockey player who plays as a midfielder or forward for Old Georgians and the England and Great Britain national teams. He competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics and 2024 Summer Olympics. Biography Club career Roper started playing hockey, aged 8, for his local club Chester HC and played there for ten years before going to university, where he played for Sheffield Hallam. He played club hockey for Brooklands MU and Wimbledon before joining Dutch club Oranje-Rood for the 2021–22 season. Roper played for Holcombe during the 2022-2023 season before joining Old Georgians. Liam Paul Ansell (born 12 November 1993) is an English field hockey player who plays as a forward for Wimbledon and the England and Great Britain national teams. He competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics. Biography Ansell played club hockey for (in order) Wycombe, Richmond, Sheffield Hallam, Dutch Club Den Bosch, Surbiton. From 2018 to 2020 he played for East Grinstead and represented England at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast. The 2019 Men's EuroHockey Championship II was the 8th edition of the Men's EuroHockey Championship II, the second level of the European field hockey championships organized by the European Hockey Federation. It was held from 28 July until 3 August 2019 in Cambrai, France. The tournament also served as a direct qualifier for the 2021 EuroHockey Championship, with the winner France and runner-up Russia qualifying. The hosts France won their first EuroHockey Championship II title by defeating Russia 4–0 in the final. Austria won the bronze medal by defeating Poland 4–1.
