2021 MPBL Finals
The 2021 Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) Finals (also known as the MPBL Lakan Cup Finals), was the best-of-5 championship series of the 2019–20 MPBL season, and the conclusion of the 2020–21 MPBL Playoffs. This was the first championship series in which will be held entirely in a bubble in Subic. The San Juan Knights, as the Northern Division Champions, will compete against the Davao Occidental Tigers, as the Southern Division Champions, in the series for the third overall championship contested by the league. This was also a rematch of the series after the Knights won the 2019 MPBL Championship against the Tigers in five games. The Southern Division champions Davao Occidental won the championship after defeating the defending champions San Juan in four games to avenge their finals loss last season. Davao Occidental Tigers, also known as Davao Occidental Tigers Cocolife due to sponsorship reasons, are a professional basketball team in the Pilipinas Super League. 2019 MPBL Finals
The 2019 Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) Finals (also known as the 2019 MPBL Datu Cup Finals), was the best-of-5 championship series of the 2018–19 MPBL Datu Cup and the conclusion of the season's playoffs. Under a new playoff format, the San Juan Knights, the MPBL Northern Division champion, and Davao Occidental Tigers as the MPBL Southern Division Champion, competed for the inaugural Datu Cup championship and the second overall championship contested by the league. Davao Occidental, which finished with the better regular season record, held the homecourt advantage for the series. John Marion Raymundo Wilson (born January 18, 1987) is a Filipino professional basketball player for the Davao Occidental Tigers of the Pilipinas Super League (PSL). Professional career Wilson was drafted by Barangay Ginebra San Miguel, Barangay Ginebra Kings seventh overall in the 2010 PBA draft. On August 23, 2012, Wilson was traded to the Air21 Express.
