2021 Kate Sheppard Cup
The 2021 Kate Sheppard Cup is New Zealand's women's 27th annual knockout football competition after the competition was cancelled, for the first time in its history, last season due to COVID-19. This is the fourth year that the competition is known by the Kate Sheppard Cup, or ''New Zealand Football Foundation Kate Sheppard Cup'' for sponsorship purposes, after previously been known as the Women's Knockout Cup since its establishment. The cup has had twelve different winners lift the trophy over its 27 year history with Lynn-Avon United from Auckland being the most successful and Eastern Suburbs being the current holders from the 2019 season. The 2021 competition has four rounds before quarter-finals, semi-finals, and a final. Competition will run in four regions (northern, central/capital, mainland, southern) until the quarter-finals, from which stage the draw will be open. Eastern Suburbs Association Football Club is a professional Association football club based in the suburb of Kohimarama in Auckland, New Zealand. The club competes in the Northern League. Māngere Bridge (suburb)
Māngere Bridge is a suburb of Auckland, New Zealand, under the local governance of the Auckland Council. Surrounded by the Manukau Harbour, the area is the most north-western suburb of South Auckland, and is connected to Onehunga in central Auckland by Māngere Bridge (bridges), three bridges that cross the Māngere Inlet. Halswell United
Halswell United is an amateur association football club based in Christchurch, New Zealand in the suburb of Halswell. They will compete in the New World Mainland Premier League. The club was founded in 1964 as Halswell United Soccer, changing its name in 1999 when the national body officially changed its title to include the word football, and it is one of the largest clubs in the South Island, with over 900 members. Beachlands Maraetai AFC is a football club based in Beachlands, New Zealand. They currently play in the NRFL Northern Conference. History The club finished second in the NRF Championship in both 2017 and 2018, losing the promotion playoff games both years.
