Baku
Baku (, ; az, Bakı ) is the capital and largest city of Azerbaijan, as well as the largest city on the Caspian Sea and of the Caucasus region. Tsend-Ochiryn Tsogtbaatar ( mn, Цэнд-Очирын Цогтбаатар; born 16 March 1996) is a Mongolian judoka. He competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, in the men's 73 kg and won the Bronze Medal. Prior to the Olympics, he fought the World Junior Championship in 2014 and 2015. He won a bronze medal at the World Cadet Championships in 2013. In 2015, he reached the final of the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam. At the 2021 Judo Grand Slam Abu Dhabi held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, he won the gold medal in his event. Shady El Nahas
Shady El Nahas (born March 27, 1998) is a Canadian judoka. Career When El Nahas was young, he immigrated to Canada from Egypt, and took up the sport of judo for self-defence against bullying at school. In November 2018, El Nahas won silver at the Osaka Grand Slam, and the following year he followed that up with a bronze at the 2019 Ekaterinburg Grand Slam. El Nahas also won gold at the 2019 Pan American Judo Championships in Lima, Peru and in 2020. In June 2021, El Nahas was named to Canada's 2020 Olympic team. Personal life El Nahas was born in Alexandria, Egypt and moved to Canada with his family at the age of 12. The family initially lived in Toronto though he moved to Montreal to join the national Canadian judo team where he trains with them today. Beka Gviniashvili (born 26 October 1995) is a Georgian judoka who became European Junior Champion in 2013, 2014, and 2015 and won the World Junior Championships in 2013 in Ljubljana and in 2015 in Abu Dhabi and EYOF in 2011. He also became the U23 European Championship in 2016 in Tel Aviv. With the Georgian Juniors, he won the World and European titles. He is a promising rising judoka. Career Junior At the 2016 Pan American Junior Judo Championships in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Gauthier-Drapeau won the bronze medal in the 73 kg category. Senior After a few years of inactivity due to an injury and the COVID-19 pandemic, Gauthier-Drapeau returned to competition at the 2021 Judo Grand Slam Paris in the 81 kg category, where he lost in overtime to the then number two world ranked Matthias Casse of Belgium.
