Gianmarco Tamberi
Gianmarco Tamberi (born 1 June 1992) is an Italian high jumper, current Olympic champion (2020 Summer Olympics) and World indoor champion (2016). He won the 2021 Diamond League crown, becoming the first ever Italian to do so, and repeated this in 2022. Career Gianmarco is coached by his father, Marco Tamberi, who held the indoor Italian record in 1983 with a height of 2.28 m. In 2015, Tamberi broke the Italian high jump record twice—first with a jump of 2.34 m in Cologne, and second with a 2.37 m in Eberstadt, where he was second behind Derek Drouin. He later finished 8th at the 2015 World Championships in Beijing with a clearance of 2.25 m. During winter 2016, Tamberi won every contest he participated at. Valentina Trapletti (born 12 July 1985) is a female racewalker from Italy, who participated at three World championships and won seven national titles. She competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics, in 20 km walk. Biography She competed in the Women's 20 kilometres walk event at the IAAF World Championships of Berlin 2009 and London 2017. His best season was 2009, when she was 24 years old, was 6th at the Universiade of Belgrade and 16th at the World Championships in Berlin, setting up her Personal Best at the all two occasions. She also won two silver medals (in 2015 and 2017) in team rankings of the European Race Walking Cup. Franck Koua
Franck Brice Koua (born 21 September 2001) is an Italian hurdler. Born and raised in the Milanese hinterland of Magenta (Mi), from parents from the Ivory Coast. After playing football he became passionate about athletics at school, thanks to a high jump lesson that at first became his specialty (personal of 2.04), without disdaining long and triple training with Fiorella Colombo in Bienate di Magnago (Milan), not far from Malpensa airport. Then a parenthesis in France where the family moved from the second half of 2017, to Villefranche-sur-Saône, followed by coach Pierre Berlier.
