2021 Hartford Athletic Season
The 2021 Hartford Athletic season is the club's third season of existence and their third in the USL Championship, the second tier of American soccer. Effects of the Covid-19 pandemic To start the season, Hartford Athletic will allow 50% capacity at home games at Dillon Stadium. Starting with the home game on May 29, they will be allowed to have a full capacity at home games. Hartford Athletic is an American professional soccer team based in Hartford, Connecticut. The club was founded in 2018 and started play in the USL Championship in 2019. It is the only pro soccer team in Connecticut. History On June 8, 2021, Hartford Athletic announced they will be fielding a women's side to compete in the new USL W League beginning in 2022. Stadium The club plays on the grounds of Trinity Health Stadium, with a capacity of 5,500. The 1935 stadium was renovated and reopened on July 13, 2019, despite the fact the stadium was not completely finished. Lights were completed and first used for the stadium's first night game on September 14, 2019 (Hartford Athletic vs. Louisville City FC). Orlando City SC is an American professional soccer club in Orlando, Florida, that competes as a member of the Eastern Conference in Major League Soccer (MLS). Philadelphia Union II is an American professional soccer team based in Chester, Pennsylvania competing in MLS Next Pro. Founded in 2015 as Bethlehem Steel FC, the team is the official affiliate of the Philadelphia Union of Major League Soccer. Thomas Janjigian (born November 10, 1994) is an American soccer player. He is of Armenian descent. Career Amateur and college Janjigian played high school soccer from 2009 to 2011 at Amador Valley High School. He spent four years playing college soccer at UC Irvine between 2013 and 2016, where he scored 3 goals in 74 appearances. Bradford Redder Jamieson IV (born October 18, 1996) is an American professional soccer player who currently plays as a forward or left winger. Youth Bradford Jamieson was born in Los Angeles, California. MSU Soccer Park At Pittser Field
MSU Soccer Park at Pittser Field is a soccer-specific stadium on the campus of Montclair State University in Montclair, New Jersey. Built on the site of a former baseball field, MSU Soccer Park opened in 1998 as the home of the Montclair State Red Hawks men's and women's soccer teams. From 2007 to 2013, Montclair State was the training site for the Major League Soccer club New York Red Bulls while their Red Bull Training Facility was constructed in nearby Hanover Township, New Jersey.
