The 2021 German motorcycle Grand Prix (officially known as the Liqui Moly Motorrad Grand Prix Deutschland) was the eighth round of the 2021 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. Liqui Moly GmbH is a German company specializing in oils, lubricants and additives. As of January 1, 2018, Liqui Moly is part of the Würth Group which bought the remaining shares of the previous majority holder and CEO Ernst Prost. He now is the managing director of Liqui Moly, together with Günter Hiermaier. Founding Liqui Moly GmbH was founded in 1957 in Ulm on the river Danube. The patent for production of molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) formed the basis for the company. This additive based on liquified molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) was the company's first product and gave the company its name. Molybdenum sulfide, the basic ingredient of the Liqui Moly Oil additive, was discovered in the shops of the US Army in post-war Germany . Filip Salač (born 12 December 2001) is a Czech motorcycle rider, competing in the 2023 Moto2 World Championship for QJmotor Gresini Moto2. Career Junior career Salač competed full time in the 2016 Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, scoring no podiums, 75 points, and finished 9th in the final standings. He also made four race appearances in the 2016 FIM CEV Moto3 Junior World Championship, scoring one point in the race at Portimão. Salač split the same two series again next year, finishing with 12 points in the 2017 FIM CEV Moto3 Junior World Championship, and five top-6 finishes in the 2017 Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, including a 2nd place podium in Jerez. Álex Rins
Álex Rins Navarro (born 8 December 1995) is a Spanish Grand Prix motorcycle racer for the LCR Honda Castrol in the MotoGP class. He was the 2011 CEV Buckler 125 Junior GP Champion, and made his Grand Prix motorcycle racing debut in the Moto3 World Championship during the season. Career Moto3 World Championship Born in Barcelona, Rins began his career in Moto3 with the Estrella Galicia 0,0 team. In his second meeting, Rins took pole position for the Spanish Grand Prix. He took his first podium in France, with third place. He scored no further podiums, but was very consistent throughout the remainder of the season, regularly finishing in the top ten. Francesco Bagnaia
Francesco "Pecco" Bagnaia (born 14 January 1997) is an Italian Grand Prix motorcycle racer competing in MotoGP World Championship, MotoGP for the Ducati Corse, Ducati Lenovo Team. He is the current 2022 MotoGP season, MotoGP World Champion and a previous 2018 Moto2 season, Moto2 World Champion. He is the first rider from the VR46 academy to win a world title in the premier class. Takaaki Nakagami
is a Japanese Grand Prix motorcycle racer, competing for LCR Honda Idemitsu in MotoGP. He won the Japanese Road Race Championship 125cc class in 2006 and J-GP2 class in 2011. Career Early career Born in Chiba, Nakagami joined the Japanese Road Race Championship in the GP125 category in 2005 joining the Harc-Pro Honda Team finishing 13th as a rookie in the series. He stayed in the Japanese 125cc championship for 2006 with Harc-Pro again, winning every race of the season; becoming the youngest-ever Japanese 125cc champion. Pol Espargaró
Pol Espargaró Villà (born 10 June 1991) is a Spanish Grand Prix motorcycle racer who for 2023 will ride in the MotoGP class for the newly named GasGas Factory Racing team, a development of Tech3. He previously spent two years with Repsol Honda. Pol is the younger brother of fellow MotoGP rider Aleix Espargaró, and is best known for winning the 2013 Moto2 World Championship. This earned him a move to Monster Yamaha Tech3 in 2014 but had 3 largely unsuccessful seasons failing to score a single podium. Jorge Martín Almoguera (born 29 January 1998), nicknamed the Martinator, is a Spanish Grand Prix motorcycle racer riding for Pramac Racing. 2021 Grand Prix Motorcycle Racing Season

Road Racing World Championship season. Fabio Quartararo won his first world title, with five race wins ahead of securing the title in the third last race of the season. Quartararo became the first ever Frenchman to win the premier class title, which was also the first title for a non-Spanish rider since Australian Casey Stoner in 2011. The season also saw Francesco Bagnaia and Jorge Martín win their first premier class races. In the overall standings, Bagnaia secured second place and reigning champion Joan Mir secured third place, while Martín was named rookie of the year. Dennis Foggia (born 7 January 2001) is an Italian motorcycle rider who is scheduled to compete in the 2023 Moto2 World Championship, riding for Italtrans Racing Team. He previously competed in Moto3, becoming the 2021 runner-up. Career Early career Foggia made his debut in motorcycle racing at age 15, during the 2016 FIM CEV Moto3 Junior World Championship, riding for the VR46 Riders Academy team, along with Celestino Vietti. In his first ever race, the opening round at Valencia, he finished in second place, and was a regular points scorer throughout the year, finishing 7th in the standings with 79 points, and grabbing a third place podium in the final race of the season, also at Valencia. For the 2017 season, Foggia stayed with the VR46 Academy team, and dominated the season.
