The 2020–21 United States Senate election in Georgia was held on November 3, 2020, and on January 5, 2021 (as a runoff), to elect the Classes of United States senators, Class II member of the United States Senate to represent the Georgia (U.S. state), State of Georgia. Democratic Party (United States), Democrat Jon Ossoff defeated incumbent Republican Party (United States), Republican Senator David Perdue in the runoff election. The general election was held concurrently with the 2020 United States presidential election, 2020 presidential election, as well as with 2020 United States Senate elections, other elections to the Senate, 2020 United States House of Representatives elections, elections to the U.S. House of Representatives and various 2020 United States elections, state and local elections.
