2021 Georgia State Panthers Football Team
The 2021 Georgia State Panthers football team represented Georgia State University (GSU) during the 2021 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Panthers were led by fifth-year head coach Shawn Elliott. This was the Panthers' ninth season in the Sun Belt Conference, fourth within the East Division, and 12th since the inception of the program. They played their home games at Center Parc Stadium. Previous season The Panthers finished 2020 with a 6–4 record (4–4 in conference), good enough for third in the Sun Belt East Division. The Panthers finished the season with a win in the 2020 Lendingtree Bowl against Western Kentucky. Shawn Elliott (American Football)
Shawn Elliott (born June 26, 1973) is an American football coach and former player, currently the head football coach at Georgia State University. He served as the interim head football coach at the University of South Carolina, a position he assumed on October 13, 2015. Elliott joined the South Carolina Gamecocks football coaching staff in 2010 as the team's running game coordinator under Steve Spurrier. He was later named the co-offensive coordinator and offensive line coach. A day after South Carolina head coach Spurrier's resignation, Elliott was elevated to the position of head coach on an interim basis. Coaching career After graduating from Appalachian State University in 1996, Elliott joined the team's coaching staff under Jerry Moore. Smiths Station High School is a high school in Smiths Station, Alabama, enrolling grades 9 to 12. The school enrolls over 1,382 students, and is one of four high schools in the Lee County School District along with Beauregard, Beulah, and Loachapoka High Schools. Boca Ciega High School (BCHS), commonly referred to as Bogie by students, staff, and county residents, is an American four-year public high school in Gulfport, Florida, just south of the St. Petersburg city line, and is part of the Pinellas County Schools district. Eastman, Georgia
Eastman is a city in Dodge County, Georgia, United States. The population was 4,962 at the 2010 census. Named after one of the founders who contributed a site and paid for the county courthouse, the city was established in 1871, and is the county seat of Dodge County. In the 19th century, this was a center of the timber and sawmill industry. Clarke Central High School
Clarke Central High School (CCHS) is located in Athens, Georgia, United States. In 1970, Clarke County schools were desegregated, and the high school for black children, Burney-Harris High School (formerly Athens High and Industrial School), and the high school for white children, Athens High, merged to establish Clarke Central. Classes in the newly formed school began in 1971. CCHS is in the Clarke County School District and is one of two traditional high schools in the county; the other is Cedar Shoals High School. Treasure Coast High School, abbreviated TCHS, is a high school located in Port St. Lucie, Florida. The school's name is taken from the Treasure Coast, the name of the region where the school is located, due to the presence of shipwrecks off its coast. Campus Treasure Coast High School is made up of four buildings and a central courtyard. The campus is designed to be very open and large to accommodate its students.
