2021 FIBA 3x3 AmeriCup
The 2021 FIBA 3x3 AmeriCup was the inaugural edition of the FIBA 3x3 Americup. It was the first-ever national team competition for 3x3 in the Americas. The games were held from November 12 to November 14 in Miami, United States. Sixteen men's teams and 13 women's teams participated in the event celebrated at the Bayfront Park in Downtown Miami. Participating teams The winners from qualifying draw A and B is included in the Pools C and D, respectively. Numbers in the parentheses are seeds. Men's Women's Format Preliminary round is played as a round-robin format and top two teams from each pool advance to the quarterfinal. Bayfront Park
Bayfront Park is a public, urban park in Downtown Miami, Florida on Biscayne Bay. The Chairman to the trust is Ary Shaeban. The 2022 FIBA 3x3 AmeriCup – Men's tournament is the second edition of this continental championship. The event was held in Miami, United States. It was contested by 18 teams. United States successfully defended their title with a win over Puerto Rico in the final by the scoreline 21–18. While in the third place play off, Brazil defeated surprise package, Trinidad and Tobago, to claim bronze. Host selection Miami was given the hosting rights for the second successive time. FIBA 3x3 AmeriCup
The FIBA 3x3 AmeriCup is a 3x3 basketball tournament held annually since 2021 which features teams from the FIBA Americas zone competing for the 3x3 zone championship. The tournament is organized by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA). The debut of the tournament was held in August 2021 in Miami, USA. 3x3 basketball (pronounced ''three-ex-three'') is a variation of basketball played three-a-side, with one backboard and in a half-court setup. FIBA 3x3 World Cup
The FIBA 3x3 World Cup is a 3x3 basketball tournament for national teams organized by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA). The debut of the tournament then named as the FIBA 3x3 World Championship was held in August 2012 in Athens, Greece. The current champions are Serbia in the men's division and France in the women's division. There are two events in the tournament; one for men and another for women.
