2021 FFA Cup Preliminary Rounds
The 2021 FFA Cup preliminary rounds were the qualifying competition to decide 23 of the 32 teams to take part in the 2021 FFA Cup. The competition commenced in February and was completed in November. Schedule The fixtures for the competition were as follows. * Some round dates in respective Federations overlap due to separate scheduling of Zones/Sub-Zones. Format There were changes to the make-up of the entrants compared to the 2019 edition, with South Australia increasing from 1 to 2 qualifying places, and NSW losing one place. Additionally, the top eight placed A-League clubs for the 2020–21 A-League season gained automatic qualification to the Round of 32. 2020 FFA Cup Preliminary Rounds
The 2020 FFA Cup preliminary rounds were the qualifying competition initially meant to decide 22 of the 32 teams to take part in the 2020 FFA Cup. Some preliminary matches were held in February and March, prior to the competition being suspended in mid-March due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Australia. The competition was cancelled on 3 July. One of the member federation-based competitions resumed from July (for the Lakoseljac Cup in Tasmania). Dockerty Cup
The Dockerty Cup is an annual association football knock-out competition open to all Victorian clubs across the Victorian football league system. The tournament is named after the former president of Football Federation Victoria Harry Dockerty. Since 2014 the Cup is also a qualifying competition for the FFA Cup, now known as the Australia Cup, where the four finalists enter the competition proper at the round of 32. The Football South Australia Federation Cup, commonly known as the Federation Cup, is a knockout cup competition in Australian football, run by Football South Australia. The competition's origins date to 1907 when a club competition with six teams (Cambridge, North Adelaide, Norwood, Port Adelaide, South Adelaide, and West Adelaide) was established under the auspices of the British Association. Capital Football Federation Cup
The Federation Cup is a soccer competition established in 1962 that is held between clubs who are affiliated with Capital Football in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) and surrounding areas of New South Wales. It is the premier cup competition in the region. The 2020–21 A-League was the 44th season of national level soccer in Australia, and the 16th since the establishment of the A-League in 2004. The season was started on 28 December 2020 and concluded with the Grand Final on 27 June 2021.
