2021 FC Kairat Season
The 2021 FC Kairat season was the 11th successive season that the club played in the Kazakhstan Premier League, the highest tier of association football in Kazakhstan, since their promotion back to the top flight in 2009. Kairat were defending Premier League Champions, and finished the season in Third place this time round. In the domestic cups, Kairat finished Third in the Super Cup and won the Kazakhstan Cup. In Europe, Kairat were knocked out of the UEFA Champions League in the Second qualifying round, the Europa League in the Third qualifying round and the Europa Conference League at the end of the Group Stage. Football Club Kairat ( kk, Qaırat Fýtbol Klýby) is a professional association football, football club based in Almaty, which plays in the Kazakhstan Premier League, the highest level of Football in Kazakhstan, Kazakh football. Founded in 1954 as Lokomotiv Alma-Ata, they became Urozhay in 1955 and Kairat in 1956. The club's home ground is the Central Stadium (Almaty), Central Stadium which has a capacity of 23,804. The club's home kit colours are yellow and black striped shirts, black shorts and black socks. Kairat was the leading Kazakh club during the Soviet period and the only representative of the Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic in the Soviet Top League. FC Tobol ( kk, Тобыл футбол клубы, Tobyl Futbol Kluby) is a Kazakh professional football club based at the Central Stadium in Kostanay. They have been members of the Kazakhstan Premier League since its foundation in 1992. Yerkebulan Kayratuly Seydakhmet ( kk, Еркебұлан Қайратұлы Сейдахмет, ''Erkebūlan Qairatūly Seidahmet''; born 4 February 2000) is a Kazakh professional footballer who plays as a winger for Kazakh club FC Kairat and the Kazakhstan national team. Sporting Circle Fola Esch (french: Cercle sportif Fola Esch), usually abbreviated to Fola Esch or simply Fola, is a football club, based in Esch-sur-Alzette, in south-western Luxembourg.
