The 2021 European Taekwondo Olympic Qualification Tournament for the Tokyo Olympic Games took place in Sofia, Bulgaria Bulgaria (; bg, България, Bǎlgariya), officially the Republic of Bulgaria,, ) is a country in Southeast Europe. It is situated on the eastern flank of the Balkans, and is bordered by Romania to the north, Serbia and North Macedo .... The tournament was held from 7 to 8 May, 2021. Each country could enter a maximum of 2 male and 2 female divisions with only one athlete in each division. The winner and runner-up athletes per division qualified for the Olympic Games under their NOC. Taekwondo at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo featured 128 taekwondo fighters competing in eight weight categories; four for men, and four for women. Qualification Taekwondo competition at these Games featured a total of 128 athletes, 64 males and 64 females, and 16 in each of the eight weight categories. Each National Olympic Committee (NOC) was allowed to enter up to one competitor per event, resulting in a maximum of eight competitors, four of each gender. ʿAlī ibn Abī Ṭālib ( ar, عَلِيّ بْن أَبِي طَالِب; 600 – 661 common era, CE) was the last of four Rashidun, Rightly Guided Caliphs to rule Islam (r. 656 – 661) immediately after the death of Muhammad, and he was the first Shia Imam. Hakan Reçber (born 17 August 1999) is a Turkish taekwondo athlete. He won the gold medal in the men's bantamweight event at the 2023 World Taekwondo Championships held in Baku, Azerbaijan. He is an Olympic bronze medalist in the Men's 68 kg competition. He won the gold medal at the 2021 European Taekwondo Championships and 2022 European Taekwondo Championships on the bantamweight (−63 kg) category. Jan Fiala (born 19 May 1956 in Slatinice) is a Czech former football player. He played 58 matches for the Czechoslovakia national football team, for which he scored one goal. He was a member of the bronze team in the 1980 UEFA European Football Championship even if he didn't play a single match.
