The 2021 Armenian Supercup was the 24th Armenian Supercup, an annual football match played between the winners of the previous season's Premier League, Alashkert, and the previous season's Armenian Cup, Ararat Yerevan, with the former winning 1–0 thanks to a goal from José Embaló. Football Club Alashkert ( hy, Ֆուտբոլային Ակումբ Ալաշկերտ), commonly known as Alashkert, is an Armenian football club based in the capital Yerevan, founded in 1990 in Martuni and after folding in 2000 re-founded in 2011. They currently play in the Armenian Premier League. The home stadium of the team is the Alashkert Stadium in Yerevan. The club headquarters are located on Saryan street 25, Yerevan. Although based in Yerevan they are in fact named after the historic Western Armenian town of Alashkert, now Eleşkirt in Eastern Turkey. David Khurtsidze
David Khvichayevich Khurtsidze (russian: Давид Хвичаевич Хурцидзе; born 4 July 1993) is a Russian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Alashkert. Club career In June 2013 Khurtsidze moved on a yearlong loan to Zenit Penza. He made his debut in the Russian Second Division for FC Zenit Penza on 16 July 2013 in a game against FC Metallurg-Oskol Stary Oskol. In February 2016, Khurtsidze signed a contract with FC Amkar Perm that began in the summer of 2016 (as he already played for two clubs in the 2015-16 season and was not eligible to be registered with Amkar in the winter). Aleksandr Vitalyevich Grigoryan (russian: Александр Витальевич Григорян; born 28 September 1966) is an Armenian professional football coach and a former player. He also holds Russian citizenship. Managerial career In August 2015, Grigoryan left his role as consultant to Pakhtakor Tashkent.
