The 2021 All-Big Ten Conference football team consists of American football players chosen as All-Big Ten Conference players for the 2021 Big Ten Conference football season. The conference recognizes two official All-Big Ten selectors: (1) the Big Ten conference coaches selected separate offensive and defensive units and named first-, second- and third-team players (the "Coaches" team); and (2) a panel of sports writers and broadcasters covering the Big Ten also selected offensive and defensive units and named first-, second- and third-team players (the "Media" team). 2021 Big Ten Conference Football Season
The 2021 Big Ten conference football season was the 126th season of college football play for the Big Ten Conference and part of the 2021 NCAA Division I FBS football season. This was the Big Ten's eighth season with 14 teams. The league's champion was Michigan. With a win on November 26 over Nebraska, and a loss by Wisconsin on November 27, Iowa won the Big Ten West division. With a win over Ohio State on November 27 Michigan clinched a share of the Big Ten East division championship and a spot in the Big Ten Championship game against Iowa on December 4 at Lucas Oil Stadium. Nine Big Ten teams were bowl-eligible at the completion of the regular season: Iowa, Maryland, Michigan (CFP), Michigan State, Minnesota, Ohio State, Penn State, Purdue, and Wisconsin. Jaxon Smith-Njigba ( ; born February 14, 2002) is an American football wide receiver for the Ohio State Buckeyes. He holds the FBS Bowl Game and Ohio State single game record for most receiving yards with 347 in the 2022 Rose Bowl. Smith also holds Ohio State records for most catches in a single game with 15 (twice) and most receiving yards in a single season with 1,606 during the 2021 season. Haskell Garrett
Haskell Garrett (born May 4, 1998) is an American football defensive tackle who is currently a free agent. He played college football at Ohio State. Early years Originally from Vermont, Garrett moved to Hawaii, then Nevada at age 13, after the death of his father. Garrett attended Bishop Gorman High School in Summerlin, Nevada. During his career, he had 25 sacks. Garrett played in the 2017 U. S. Army All-American Bowl. He committed to Ohio State University to play college football. Arnold Kevin Ebiketie ( ; born 23 January 1999) is a Cameroonian-born American football linebacker for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Temple before transferring to Penn State. Thayer Munford Jr. (born September 18, 1999) is an American football offensive tackle for the Las Vegas Raiders of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Ohio State. Early life and high school Munford grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and initially attended La Salle High School.
