2020–21 Women's T20 Super League
The 2020–21 Women's T20 Super League was the third Women's T20 Super League competition that took place in South Africa. It took place in December 2020, with 4 teams taking part made up of the best players in South Africa. Coronations won the competition, winning their second title. Competition format The four teams played each other once in a round-robin, therefore playing three matches. Matches were played using a Twenty20 format. The league worked on a points system with positions being based on the total points. Points were awarded as follows: Win: 2 points. Tie: 1 point. Loss: 0 points. Abandoned/No Result: 1 point. Cricket South Africa
Cricket South Africa (CSA) is the governing body for both professional and amateur cricket in South Africa. In 1991, the separate South African Cricket Union and the South African Cricket Board merged to form the United Cricket Board of South Africa (UCB), ending enforced racial separation governance in South African cricket. Chloe-Lesleigh Tryon (born 25 January 1994) is a South African cricketer. She has appeared for South Africa in all formats of the game. Delmi Tucker (born 5 March 1997) is a South African cricketer who plays for Western Province, Duchesses and South Africa. She made her international debut for South Africa in June 2022. Career Tucker attended Hoërskool Menlopark school in Pretoria, where she played hockey and cricket. Tucker went on to play hockey for Northerns, before turning her focus to cricket. Michaela Louise Kirk (born 30 June 1999) is a South African cricketer who currently plays for Nottinghamshire and The Blaze. Mignon du Preez (born 13 June 1989) is a South African cricketer, who was the women's team captain in all three forms of cricket, Test matches, ODIs and T20Is, from 2007 to 2018. A right-handed batter and occasional wicket-keeper, du Preez made her debut for the South Africa national women's cricket team in January 2007, aged seventeen. Besides being the South African player with most matches as captain in both ODIs and T20Is, she is the highest run-scorer for South Africa women in ODIs and T20Is.
