2020–21 Swiss Super League
The 2020–21 Swiss Super League (referred to as the Raiffeisen Super League for sponsoring reasons) was the 124th season of top-tier competitive football in Switzerland and the 18th under its current name and format. A total of ten teams competed in the league: the eight best teams from the 2019–20 season, the 2019–20 Swiss Challenge League champions Lausanne-Sport and relegation play-off winners Vaduz. Young Boys were the three-time defending champions, and successfully defended their title. Swiss Super League
The Swiss Super League (known as the Credit Suisse Super League for sponsorship reasons) is a Swiss professional league in the top tier of the Swiss football league system and has been played in its current format since the 2003–04 season. As of January 2022, the Swiss Super League is ranked 14th in Europe according to UEFA's ranking of league coefficients, which is based upon Swiss team performances in European competitions. The 2022–23 season will be the 126th season of the Swiss top-flight, making it the longest continuously running top-flight national league. FC Lausanne-Sport
FC Lausanne–Sport (also referred to as LS) is a Swiss football club based in Lausanne in the canton of Vaud. Founded in 1896, Lausanne Sport played in the Swiss Super League in their most recent 2021-22 season, the highest tier of football in the country, but will play in the second tier Swiss Challenge League in the 2022-23 after being relegated in the 2021-22 Swiss Super League Season. They play their home games at the 12,544-capacity Stade de la Tuilière. Previously Lausanne Sport had played at the Stade Olympique de la Pontaise, a 15,850 all-seater stadium used for the 1954 FIFA World Cup. Swissporarena
Swissporarena is a multi-use stadium in Lucerne, Switzerland, completed in 2011. It is used mostly for football matches and hosts the home matches of FC Luzern of the Swiss Super League. The stadium has a capacity of 16,800 spectators, including an away fans' section fitted with 390 rail seats for safe standing. It replaced the demolished Stadion Allmend. The stadium was due to open earlier in the year but several problems during construction changed the plans. In February 2011 the club announced the new season ticket prices for their return home.
