2020–21 Sabah FC Season
The Sabah FC 2020–21 season was Sabah's third Azerbaijan Premier League season, and their fourth season in existence. Season events On 3 July, manager Željko Sopić left the club by mutual consent, with Vicente Gómez being appointed as the clubs new manager on 10 July to a two-year contract. On 26 June, Sabah signed a new one-year contract with goalkeeper Saša Stamenković. On 1 August, Ramil Sheydayev signed a new one-year contract with Sabah. On 2 August, Sabah announced the singing of Nikola Vujadinović on a one-year contract. On 1 September, Javid Taghiyev left Sabah after his contract was terminated by mutual consent. On 21 September, Sabah announced the signing of Álvaro Villete on a one-year long loan deal. On 24 December, Sabah announced the signing of Bakhtiyar Hasanalizade signed for Sabah until the end of the season. Sabah Football Club ( az, Sabah Futbol Klubu) is an Azerbaijani professional football club based in Masazır. The team plays in the Azerbaijan Premier League, their top tier of Azerbaijani football. History Sabah were formed on 8 September 2017, joining the Azerbaijan First Division for the 2017–18 season, in which they finished 5th. After the four teams above them in the league failed or decline promotion, Sabah were granted a license to participate in Azerbaijan Premier League on 12 May 2018. Sabah's first game in the Azerbaijan Premier League was against Keşla on 12 August 2018, a game they won 1-0 thanks to a Marko Dević goal. Sabah went on to finish their first Premier League season in 7th position, avoiding relegation. Eugeniu Cociuc
Eugeniu Cociuc (born 11 May 1993) is a Moldovan professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Armenian Premier League club Pyunik and the Moldova national team. Career Club Cociuc returned to Žilina after six-months on loan at Sabail at the end of the 2017–18 season. On 22 August 2018, Cociuc signed contract with Azerbaijan Premier League side Sabail. Patriotas Boyacá, also known as Patriotas, is a professional Colombian football team based in Tunja, that currently plays in the Categoría Primera B. They play their home games at the La Independencia stadium.
