The Qarabağ 2020–21 season was Qarabağ's 29th Azerbaijan Premier League season, of which were defending champions, and will be their thirteenth season under manager Gurban Gurbanov. Season overview On 2 July, Qarabağ announced the return of Wilde-Donald Guerrier from Neftçi. On 10 July, Qarabağ announced the signing of Emil Balayev. Qarabağ Futbol Klubu, commonly known as Qarabağ () is an Azerbaijani professional football club, based in Baku, that competes in the Azerbaijan Premier League, the top flight of Azerbaijani football. The club originates from Aghdam but has not played in its hometown since 1993 due to the First Nagorno-Karabakh War. The club is now based in the capital city of Baku. Qarabağ plays its matches at the Azersun Arena and Tofiq Bahramov Stadium in Baku, which also serves as the venue for Azerbaijan national team matches. Uroš Matić
Uroš Matić ( sr-Cyrl, Уpoш Maтић, ; born 23 May 1990) is a Serbian professional footballer who plays for Abha in the Saudi Professional League. Club career Matić was born in Šabac in the Serbian Federal Republic. Moving from youth football to MFK Košice in 2008, he made his debut on 30 May 2009 as a substitute in second half of the match against Tatran Prešov. Shakhruddin Magomedovich Magomedaliyev ( az, Şahruddin Məhəmməd oğlu Məhəmmədəliyev; russian: Шахруддин Магомедович Магомедалиев; born 12 June 1994) is a professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Süper Lig club Adana Demirspor.
