The 2020–21 National First Division (called the GladAfrica Championship for sponsorship reasons) was the season from November 2020 to May 2021 of South Africa's second tier of professional soccer, the National First Division. National First Division
The National First Division (NFD), officially known as the Motsepe Foundation Championship for sponsorship reasons, is the second-highest league of South African club association football, football after the South African Premier Division. Both the NFD and South African Premier Division are organised by the Premier Soccer League. The winners of the two streams played against each other in a 'final' at the end of the season – the winner of which was promoted to the PSL. The Peter Mokaba Stadium is a football and rugby union stadium in Polokwane (formerly Pietersburg), South Africa, that was used for the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
