The 2020–21 Los Angeles Force season was the club's second in the National Independent Soccer Association (NISA) and second overall. Los Angeles Force
Los Angeles Force is an American professional soccer club based in Los Angeles, California, that plays in the National Independent Soccer Association (NISA). History On August 2, 2019, the National Independent Soccer Association announced the addition of Los Angeles Force ahead of the league's inaugural 2019 Fall Showcase. The club is affiliated with NISA Nation side FC Golden State Force. Stadium For the 2019 NISA Fall Showcase, the team played its home matches at Rio Hondo College in Whittier, California. Starting with the 2020 Spring season, the team moved to Los Angeles, and is using the newly renovated stadium on the campus of California State University - Los Angeles. During the 2021 fall season, the Force primarily used Valley High School's facility in Santa Ana, except for two matches at Championship Soccer Stadium in Irvine. Rio Hondo College is a public community college in Whittier, California. The college is named after the Rio Hondo. Founded in 1960, it mainly serves the cities of Whittier, Pico Rivera, Santa Fe Springs, El Monte, and South El Monte. Rio Hondo College offers 30 associate degrees for transfer that guarantee transfer to California State Universities, 60 associate degrees and 127 certificates. John Seamus "Jack" McInerney (born August 5, 1992) is an American soccer player. Career Youth Born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, McInerney moved with his family to Colorado, Illinois, California, and Florida before finally settling in Alpharetta, Georgia before he entered the third grade. He graduated from Bradenton Preparatory High School in Bradenton, Florida, and played club soccer for the Cobb Futbol Club in Georgia. Matthew Ryan Fondy (born July 28, 1989) is an American soccer player who currently plays for Inter San Francisco in the San Francisco Soccer Football League. On August 23, 2020, Jacob S. Blake, a 29-year-old black man, was shot and seriously injured by police officer Rusten Sheskey in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Sheskey shot Blake in the back four times and the side three times after Blake opened the driver's door to his girlfriend's SUV and attempted to reach inside. Sheskey said that he believed he was about to be stabbed, since Blake was holding a knife. History The club was founded by Bronwyn & Pete Capriotti and Michael Collins, who have had connections to the adult amateur United Premier Soccer League.
