The European Aquatics Euro Cup is the second-tier European water polo club competition run by the European Aquatics for those clubs who did not qualify for the European Aquatics Champions League. Rari Nantes Savona is an aquatic sports club based in Savona, Italy, mainly known for its professional men's water polo team, which competes uninterruptedly in the Serie A1, the top division of Italian championship, since 1982; the team has been national champion for three times. History The club was founded in 1948 by Mario Caviglione with a group of other water polo enthusiasts. After several years in the amateur leagues, in 1975 the club reached Serie B (back then the second tier of Italian championship) and achieved the promotion in Serie A six years later, in the 1981 season. Panionios Water Polo Club
Panionios Water Polo Club is the water polo team of Panionios multi sport club. It has got teams both men and women. The men's team of Panionios is playing in A1 Ethniki (first division) and the women's team is also playing in A1 Ethniki Women (first division). Men's team Panionios had had a water polo team by the period it was based in Smyrna, before 1922. It kept up the team when it moved in Athens but some time later it was dissolved. The water polo team of Panionios was refounded again in 1985, after the building of natatorium in Nea Smirni. In the ’90s, the water polo men section gradually comes back to top levels and participates in the top division A1 Ethniki for several years (1993-1994, 1995-1996, 1997-1998, 1998-1999). However, poor economics cause the section to relegate again to B division. Egri Vízilabda Klub () is a Hungary, Hungarian water polo club based in Eger. One of the dominant teams in the country since the late 2000s, Eger won the national championship in 2011,2013,2014 and came in second in 2012. They also collected the gold medal in the Hungarian cup in 1972 and 2007. Beside the domestic successes they also finished runners-up in the LEN Cup in 2008. Carouge Natation
Carouge () is a municipality in the Canton of Geneva, Switzerland. History Carouge is first mentioned in the Early Middle Ages as ''Quadruvium'' and ''Quatruvio''. In 1248 it was mentioned as ''Carrogium'' while in the 14th century it was known as ''Quarrouiz'' or ''Quarroggi''. In 1445 it was mentioned as ''Quaroggio''.
