2020–21 LASK Season
The 2020–21 season was the 113th season in the existence of LASK and the club's fourth consecutive season in the top flight of Austrian football. In addition to the domestic league, LASK participated in this season's editions of the Austrian Cup and participated in the UEFA Europa League. The season covered the period from 1 August 2020 to 30 June 2021. Linzer Athletik-Sport-Klub, commonly known as Linzer ASK () or simply LASK, is an Austrian professional Football team, football club, from the Upper Austria, Upper-Austrian state capital Linz. It is the oldest football club in that region, and plays in the Austrian Football Bundesliga, the top tier of Austrian football. The club's colours are black and white. The women's team plays in the second highest division of Austrian women's football. LASK was founded on 7 August 1908. In 1965, the club became the first team outside Vienna to win the Austrian football championship. This is also its only championship to date. The club currently plays its league fixtures at the Waldstadion (Austria), Waldstadion in Pasching, but at the 14,000 capacity Linzer Stadion in UEFA competitions. Yevhen Ihorovych Cheberko ( ua, Євген Ігорович Чеберко; born 23 January 1998) is a Ukrainian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Columbus Crew in Major League Soccer. Club career Cheberko is a product of the UFK Dnipro and FC Dnipro youth systems. On 24 July 2016, Cheberko made his debut for FC Dnipro, coming on as a second half substitute in a match against Volyn Lutsk. Several months later, on 30 April 2017, he achieved another milestone by scoring his first professional goal against the same team. It came via a penalty kick, securing a 1–0 victory for his club. Mads Emil Møller Madsen (born 14 January 1998) is a Danish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Danish Superliga club AGF. Gernot Trauner
Gernot Trauner (; born 25 March 1992) is an Austrian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Eredivisie club Feyenoord and the Austria national team. Trauner progressed through different youth teams in Upper Austria, before making his debut in professional football as part of LASK in 2010. Sidelined by injury in the 2011–12 season, he made the move to SV Ried in 2012 where he made his breakthrough in the Austrian Bundesliga.
