2020–21 Gonzaga Bulldogs Women's Basketball Team
The 2020–21 Gonzaga Bulldogs women's basketball team represents Gonzaga University in the 2020–21 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Bulldogs (also informally referred to as the "Zags"), are members of the West Coast Conference. The Bulldogs, led by seventh year head coach Lisa Fortier, play their home games at the McCarthey Athletic Center on the university campus in Spokane, Washington. Lisa Fortier
Lisa Mispley Fortier (born April 5, 1981) is an American basketball coach, currently the head coach of the women's basketball team at Gonzaga University. Early life and education Fortier, born Lisa Mispley, is the oldest of three children to Bill and Tami Mispley. Fortier played basketball at Placer High School before playing at both Butte College, Butte Community College and California State University, Monterey Bay. At Cal State, she earned honorable mention All California Collegiate Athletic Association, Cal-Pac Conference honors as a junior and was named to the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, NAIA Academic All-America list in 2003. She graduated Latin honors, Magna Cum Laude from Cal State, Monterey Bay, in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts, B.A. in human communication. Okanogan ( ; derived from Syilx'tsn: "rendezvous" or "meeting place") is a city in Okanogan County, Washington, United States. The population was 2,552 at the 2010 census, within the Greater Omak Area. It is the seat of Okanogan County. It has a small commuter airfield, Okanogan Legion Airport – (S35) with one paved runway of in length. History Okanogan was officially incorporated on October 29, 1907. A pair of 115 year old long murals possibly by Western photographer Frank S. Matsura was discovered during renovation of a 1907 commercial building in January 2022. The Loyola Ramblers women's basketball team represents Loyola University Chicago, located in Chicago, Illinois, United States, in NCAA Division I basketball competition. They currently compete in the Atlantic 10 Conference. History The Ramblers have never made the NCAA tournament. Windward School is an independent school in the Mar Vista neighborhood of Los Angeles, California, accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. It was founded by writer/teacher Shirley Windward in 1971. The school currently enrolls 625 students in grades 7 through 12. History In 1971, two former Paul Revere Middle School teachers, Carl Parsons and Shirley Windward (for whom the school is named), founded the school in order to open up their classes to young people on the West side of Los Angeles.
