The 2020–21 season was the 121st season in the existence of Eintracht Frankfurt and the club's ninth consecutive season in the top flight of German football. Eintracht Frankfurt e.V. () is a professional sports club based in Frankfurt, Hesse, Germany. It is best known for its football club, which was founded on 8 March 1899. Stefan Ilsanker (born 18 May 1989) is an Austrian professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for club Genoa and the Austria national team. Ilsanker has represented his country at the Under-19 European Championship and was also a member of the under-21 team. He has been a full senior international since 2014.
