2020–21 Dundee F.C. Season
The 2020–21 season was Dundee's second season in the second tier of Scottish football since their relegation at the end of the 2018–19 season. Due to the disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the teams in the Scottish Championship agreed to shorten the season to 27 games rather than the regular 36, with a start date on 17 October 2020. Dundee will also compete in the League Cup and the Scottish Cup. The club was also set to compete in the Challenge Cup, but the tournament was cancelled due to the financial strain of the ongoing pandemic. Dundee would earn promotion after winning the Premiership play-offs, defeating both Raith Rovers and Kilmarnock over two legs to return to the Scottish Premiership after a two-year absence. Brora Rangers F
Brora ( , gd, Brùra) is a village in the east of Sutherland, in the Highland area of Scotland. Origin of the name The name ''Brora'' is derived from Old Norse and means "river with a bridge". History Brora is a small industrial village, having at one time a coal pit, boat building, salt pans, fish curing, lemonade factory, the new Clynelish Distillery (as well as the old Clynelish distillery which is now called the Brora distillery ), wool mill, bricks and a stone quarry. The white sandstone in the Clynelish quarry belongs to the Brora Formation, of the Callovian and Oxfordian stages (formerly Middle Oolite) of the Mid-Late Jurassic. Stone from the quarry was used in the construction of London Bridge, Liverpool Cathedral and Dunrobin Castle. When in operation, the coalmine was the most northerly coalmine in the UK. The Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL) is the national men's association football league in Scotland. The league was formed in June 2013 following a merger between the Scottish Premier League and the Scottish Football League. Charlie Adam
Charles Graham Adam (born 10 December 1985) is a Scottish former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Adam started his senior career with Rangers. He spent much of his early senior career on loan to Ross County and St Mirren. Dave Mackay (footballer, Born 1981)
David Robert Mackay (born 2 May 1981) is a Scottish former professional football player and coach, and currently the assistant manager of Dunfermline Athletic. He played as a defender for Dundee, Brechin City, Arbroath, Oxford United, Livingston and St Johnstone. Mackay captained St Johnstone when they won the 2014 Scottish Cup Final. Kane Ruudi Hemmings (born 8 April 1992) is an English professional footballer who plays for League Two club Tranmere Rovers.
