2020–21 Copa Del Rey
The 2020–21 Copa del Rey was the 119th staging of the Copa del Rey (including two seasons where two rival editions were played). The winners are assured a place in the 2021–22 UEFA Europa League group stage. Both the winners and the runners-up qualified for the four-team 2021–22 Supercopa de España. Real Sociedad were the defending champions, having won the postponed final of the previous edition, which was held two weeks before the 2021 final. They were already eliminated by Real Betis in the round of 16 of the 2020–21 edition, before the previous final had been played. Barcelona won the final 4–0 against Athletic Bilbao for a record 31st Copa del Rey title. As across Spain, match times up to 25 October 2020 and from 28 March 2021 were CEST (UTC+2). Copa Del Rey
The Campeonato de España–Copa de Su Majestad el Rey, commonly known as Copa del Rey or simply La Copa and formerly known as Copa del Presidente de la República (1932–36) and Copa del Generalísimo (1939–76), is an annual knockout football competition in Spanish football, organized by the Royal Spanish Football Federation. The 2020 Copa Federación de España was the 28th edition of the Copa Federación de España, also known as Copa RFEF, a knockout competition for Spanish football clubs in Segunda División B and Tercera División. The competition began in September with the first games of the Regional stages and ended in December with the final of the National tournament. The 2019–20 Tercera División is the fourth tier of Spanish football. It began in August 2019 and was supposed to end in late June 2020 with the promotion play-off finals. On 11 March 2020, the season was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Spain. The 2019–20 Segunda División B season was the 43rd since its establishment. Eighty teams participated, distributed in four groups of twenty clubs each. On 11 March 2020, the season of Segunda División B was suspended due to the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic in Spain. On 6 May 2020, the Royal Spanish Football Federation announced the premature end of the league, revoking all relegations and planning an eventual promotion playoff to be played if possible. On 12 March 2020 after most of teams had played 31 games, the league was suspended for at least two weeks due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Spain. The league was suspended indefinitely on 23 March. The season recommenced on 10 June and was initially planned to be completed on 20 July. On 20 July 2020, the final day of the regular season, Deportivo La Coruña's match against Fuenlabrada was suspended indefinitely due to several Fuenlabrada players testing positive for COVID-19, therefore, delaying the official end of the season.
