Chennaiyin Football Club is an Indian professional football club based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The club competes in the Indian Super League, the top flight of Indian football. The club was founded in August 2014 during the inaugural season of the Indian Super League. One of the most successful clubs in the history of the league, it has won the Indian Super League title on two occasions, in the 2015 and 2017–18 seasons respectively. Eli Sabiá Filho (born 31 August 1988) is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a defender for I-League club Sreenidi Deccan. Career Eli Sabiá began his career with Paulista and joined in July 2007 to Lausanne on loan; he joined back to Paulista on 29 January 2009. Khangebam Thoi Singh (born 5 October 1990) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Real Kashmir in the I-League. Youth career Thoi started his career when representing his state Manipur in the Mir Iqbal Hussain Trophy, a National level under-16 sub-junior trophy. Rafael Schuler Crivellaro (born 18 February 1989) is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Indian Super League club Chennaiyin. Jakub Sylvestr (born 2 February 1989) is a Slovak professional footballer who plays as a forward. He made six appearances for the Slovakia national team. Karanjit Singh Parmar (born 8 January 1986) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Indian Super League club Kerala Blasters.
