2020–21 BCB President's Cup
The 2020–21 BCB President's Cup was a cricket competition that took place in Bangladesh from 11 to 25 October 2020. It was the first cricket to be played in Bangladesh since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020. Three teams took part, with all the matches played at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur Model Thana, Mirpur. The final was originally scheduled to be played on 23 October, but was moved back to 25 October due to the forecast of bad weather in Dhaka. Bangladesh Cricket Board
The Bangladesh Cricket board ( bn, বাংলাদেশ ক্রিকেট বোর্ড; abbreviated as BCB) is the governing body of cricket in Bangladesh. The Bangladesh Cricket Board first became an associate member of the International Cricket Council in 1977 and on June 26, 2000 became a Full Member. BCB have three International Cricket teams which represent Bangladesh in international cricket, which are Bangladesh Men's national cricket team, Bangladesh women's national cricket team and Bangladesh under-19 cricket team. Quazi Nurul Hasan Sohan ( bn, কাজী নুরুল হাসান সোহান; born 21 November 1993) is a Bangladeshi cricketer who represents Bangladesh in international stage in all formats. Sohan is well known in Bangladesh for his keeping skills and great flexibility. Sohan is a wicket-keeper batter and plays as a right-handed batter lower down the order. Towhid Hridoy (born 9 December 1999) is a Bangladeshi cricketer. He made his first-class debut for Rajshahi Division in the 2017–18 National Cricket League on 13 October 2017. Afif Hossain Dhrubo (Bengali: আফিফ হোসেন ধ্রুব; born 22 September 1999) is a Bangladeshi cricketer. In February 2018, he was named in Bangladesh's Twenty20 International (T20I) squad for their series against Sri Lanka. He made his T20I debut for Bangladesh against Sri Lanka on 15 February 2018. Mohammad Saif Hassan ( bn, মোহাম্মদ সাইফ হাসান; born 30 October 1998) is a Bangladeshi cricketer. Soumya Sarkar ( bn, সৌম্য সরকার; born 25 February 1993) is a Bangladeshi cricketer. He is a left-handed batsman and a right arm medium-fast bowler who mainly plays as an opening batsman and the creator of the good looking " Shot". Najmul Hossain Shanto ( bn, নাজমুল হোসেন শান্ত; born 25 August 1998) is a Bangladeshi cricketer. He is the second Bangladeshi to score a century in domestic Twenty20s after Sabbir Rahman. Mrittunjoy Chowdhury (born 28 June 2001) is a Bangladeshi cricketer. Ebadot Hossain Chowdhury ( bn, এবাদত হোসেন চৌধুরী; born 7 January 1994), better known as simply Ebadot Hossain, nicknamed 'Sylhet Rocket' due to his speed and skill, is a Bangladeshi cricketer.
