Television In Spain
Television in Spain was introduced in 1956, when the national state-owned public service television broadcaster Televisión Española (TVE) started regular analog free-to-air terrestrial black and white broadcasts. Colour transmissions started in 1972 after two years of test transmissions, with all programming transmitted in color in 1977, and colour commercials starting in 1978. TVE held a monopoly on television broadcasting until regional public channels were launched during the 1980s and commercial television started nationwide in 1990. Digital terrestrial television was launched on 30 November 2005 with analog service discontinued on 3 April 2010. Currently, television is one of the leading mass media of the country, and by 2008 was in 99.7% of households in Spain according to INE statistics. Sandra Barneda Valls (born 4 October 1975) is a Spanish journalist, television presenter, actress, and writer. Biography Sandra Barneda was born in Barcelona on 4 October 1975. She holds a licentiate in journalism from the Autonomous University of Barcelona's Faculty of Information Sciences, and is also a graduate of the Barcelona School of Theater. Néboa
''Néboa'' is a Spanish mystery-thriller television series starring Emma Suárez and Isabel Naveira. Created by Xosé Morais, Víctor Sierra and Alberto Guntín, produced by RTVE and Voz Audiovisual and set in Galicia, the plot concerns the investigation on a series of serial murders taking place in a small island community during the carnival. It aired on La 1 in 2020. Premise The story is set in Néboa, a fictional island off the coast of Galicia. The corpse of a teenager appears during the first night of the ''entroido'' carnival in Néboa. The murder mimics the pattern of past killings that occurred in 1919 and 1989, both of which sparked a serial killing row with multiple deaths. Carlos Javier Sobera Pardo (born 11 August 1960 in Barakaldo, Spain) is a Spanish actor, television presenter and former law lecturer. Biography Sobera has a law degree from the University of Deusto.
