2020 World Rally Championship-3
The 2020 FIA World Rally Championship-3, an auto racing championship for rally cars that was recognised by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile as the third-highest tier of international rallying. It was open to privately-entered cars complying with R5 regulations and was the seventh running of the championship. Pierre-Louis Loubet and Vincent Landais were the reigning drivers' and co-drivers' champions. Jari Huttunen and Mikko Lukka won the 2020 WRC-3 titles. The FIA WRC3 is a support championship of the World Rally Championship. The calendar consists of the same rallies and stages as the parent series and crews usually compete immediately after WRC2 entrants. Entry into WRC3 is limited to cars that are based on production models and homologated under Group Rally3 rules, although prior to 2022 Group Rally2 cars were used. There are championship titles awarded to drivers and co-drivers. The current format of the series began in 2020. Sean Johnston (born 17 November 1990) is an American rally driver currently competing in World Rally Championship-2. He began his racing career in 2011 in the North American Nissan GT Academy, a televised competition that took the fastest sim racers in '' Gran Turismo'' to compete in real cars to win a professional racing contract with Nissan. After finishing second in the competition, Johnston competed in the IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge the following year, claiming 14 podiums from 15 races and winning the championship. Eric Camilli (born 6 September 1987) is a French rally driver. He has competed in the World Rally Championship since 2014. After starting out in the lower levels, he made his debut in the top level in 2016 while driving for M-Sport in a Ford Fiesta RS WRC.
