2020 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships – Division I
The 2020 World Junior Ice Hockey Championship Division I consisted of two tiered groups of six teams each: the second-tier Division I A and the third-tier Division I B. For each tier's tournament, the team which placed first was promoted to the next highest division, while the team which placed last was relegated to a lower division. To be eligible as a junior player in these tournaments, a player couldn't be born earlier than 2000. Division I A The Division I A tournament was played in Minsk, Belarus, from 9 to 15 December 2019. 2019 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships – Division I
The 2019 World Junior Ice Hockey Championship Division I consisted of two tiered groups of six teams each: the second-tier Division I A and the third-tier Division I B. For each tier's tournament, the team which placed first was promoted to the next highest division, while the team which placed last was relegated to a lower division. To be eligible as a junior player in these tournaments, a player couldn't be born earlier than 1999. Philip Granath
Lars Philip Bjørge Granath (born 5 October 2002) is a Norwegian ice hockey right wing who represents Tappara Tampere in the Liiga, the top-tier of ice hockey in Finland. Granath has played two men's World Championship games representing Norway. Granath has previously represented Frölunda HC and Rögle BK in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). Granath started his junior career at his local Norwegian club, Frisk Asker Idrettsforeningen Frisk Asker is a Norwegian sports club from Asker, Akershus. Mads Søgaard
Mads Søgaard (born 13 December 2000) is a Danish professional ice hockey goaltender for the Ottawa Senators of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected by the Senators in the second round, 37th overall, in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft. After two seasons in the American Hockey League, Søgaard made his NHL debut with the Senators in 2022. Internationally he has played for the Denmark men's national junior ice hockey team, Danish national team at the junior level in several tournaments. Playing career Søgaard spent his early career in his native Denmark. In 2017 he moved to North America, and spent one season with the Austin Bruins of the North American Hockey League, playing 22 games for them.
