The 2020 United States Senate election in Kansas was held on November 3, 2020, to elect a member of the United States Senate to represent the State of Kansas, concurrently with the 2020 U.S. presidential election, as well as other elections to the United States Senate, elections to the United States House of Representatives and various state and local elections. On January 4, 2019, incumbent Republican Senator Pat Roberts announced he would not run for a fifth term. Roger Wayne Marshall (born August 9, 1960) is an American politician, physician, and former military officer serving as the junior United States senator from Kansas since 2021. Susan Wagle (born September 27, 1953) is an American politician who served as a Republican member of the Kansas Senate, representing the 30th district from 2001 to 2021. David Alan Lindstrom (born November 16, 1954) is a former American football defensive end in the National Football League (NFL), playing eight seasons (1978–1986) for the Kansas City Chiefs. Drafted by the San Diego Chargers in 1977, Lindstrom was inducted into both the Boston University Hall of Fame and Massachusetts High School Hall of Fame in 1993.
