2020 U-20 Copa Libertadores
The 2020 U-20 Copa CONMEBOL Libertadores ( es, Copa CONMEBOL Libertadores Sub-20 2020) was the 5th edition of the U-20 CONMEBOL Libertadores (also referred to as the ''U-20 Copa Libertadores''), South America's premier under-20 club football tournament organized by CONMEBOL. The tournament was held in Paraguay from 15 February to 1 March 2020. Nacional were the defending champions, but failed to advance out of the group stage. Independiente del Valle defeated River Plate in the final to claim their first title, while Flamengo beat Libertad to finish third. Teams The competition was contested by 12 teams: the title holders, the youth champions from each of the ten CONMEBOL member associations, and one additional team from the host association. Players must be born on or after 1 January 2000. Club Sporting Cristal S.A. is a Peruvian sports club located in the city of Lima, best known for its association football, football team. Paraguay observes UTC−04:00 for standard time (PYT), and UTC−03:00 for daylight saving time/summer time (PYST). Daylight saving time Paraguay observes DST under decree 1867 of March 5, 2004. DST ends on the third Sunday of March and starts on the first Sunday of October. In 2007, DST started on October 15, 2006 and ended on March 11, 2007. In 2010, Paraguay changed its own DST rules because of the energy crisis, ending DST on the second Sunday in April, a month later than previous years. In 2013 Paraguay changed the ending date of daylight saving to the fourth Sunday in March. The starting date remains unchanged. General DÃaz Football Club is a Paraguayan football club from Luque that currently plays in the División Intermedia. Founded in 1917, it plays at the Estadio General Adrián Jara in Luque. The club's name came from José Eduvigis DÃaz, a Paraguayan general. History The club was founded on September 22, 1917. In 2004, the club finished as runner-up of the Tercera División, but only one club was available for promotion at that time. In 2006, they were runner-up again, but this time they were able to be promoted to the Segunda Division (Intermedia).
