2020 T20I Balkan Cup
The Bulgaria cricket team toured Romania in October 2020 to contest the Balkan Cup over four Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. The matches were played between 16 and 18 October 2020 at the Moara Vlasiei Cricket Ground The Moara Vlasiei Cricket Ground is a cricket ground in Moara Vlăsiei, Ilfov County, Romania. Bulgaria National Cricket Team
The Bulgaria national cricket team represents Bulgaria in international cricket. The team is organised by the Bulgarian Cricket Federation, which became an affiliate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 2008 and an List of International Cricket Council members, associate member in 2017. Bulgaria made its international debut in 2004, at the ECC Representative Championship in Slovenia. Twenty20 International
A Twenty20 International (T20I) is a form of cricket, played between two of the international members of the International Cricket Council (ICC), in which each team faces a maximum of twenty overs. The matches have top-class status and are the highest T20 standard. The game is played under the rules of Twenty20 cricket. Starting from the format's inception in 2005, T20I status only applied to Full Members and some Associate Member teams. However, in April 2018, the ICC announced that it would grant T20I status to all its 105 members from 1 January 2019. Ilfov () is the county that surrounds Bucharest, the capital of Romania. 2019 Continental Cup (cricket)
The 2019 Continental Cup was a Twenty20 International (T20I) cricket tournament held in Romania between 29 August and 1 September 2019. The hosts were the defending champions, having won the previous edition in 2018. The format was originally to be two groups of three teams played over the first two days, followed by a series of play-off matches. However, after Russia withdrew two days before the tournament, the format was changed to a single round-robin stage followed by a final. The Malta cricket team toured Bulgaria in September 2020 to play four Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. Pavel Florin (born 12 February 1979) is a Romanian international cricketer who plays for the national cricket team as a bowler. Florin became well known while playing in the European Cricket League in 2019, when a video showing his bowling action went viral on social media. Career and reaction In July 2019 Florin, who took up cricket at 32, bowled the penultimate over for Cluj in an ECL match against Dreux, and conceded 13 runs. The wicket-keeper in the sport of cricket is the player on the fielding side who stands behind the wicket or stumps being watchful of the batsman and ready to take a catch, stump the batsman out and run out a batsman when occasion arises. Not Out
In cricket, a batter is not out if they come out to bat in an innings and have not been dismissed by the end of an innings. The batter is also ''not out'' while their innings is still in progress. Occurrence At least one batter is not out at the end of every innings, because once ten batters are out, the eleventh has no partner to bat on with so the innings ends. Usually two batters finish not out if the batting side declares in first-class cricket, and often at the end of the scheduled number of overs in limited overs cricket.
