2020 Svenska Cupen Final
The 2020 Svenska Cupen Final was played on 30 July 2020 between Allsvenskan clubs IFK Göteborg and Malmö FF. The match was played on Gamla Ullevi, the home ground of IFK Göteborg. The final was the culmination of the 2019–20 Svenska Cupen, the 64th season of Svenska Cupen and the eight season with the current format. The final was initially planned for 30 April 2020 but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As a consequence of the pandemic, the final was played without attendance. IFK Göteborg won the match 2–1 after extra time, their eighth Svenska Cupen title, and earned a place in the second qualifying round of the 2020–21 UEFA Europa League. The 1945 Svenska Cupen final took place on 26 August 1945 at Råsunda in Solna. It was contested between Allsvenskan sides IFK Norrköping and Malmö FF. The final was a repeat of last years final which Malmö FF won 4–3 after extra time. IFK Norrköping played their third final in total and Malmö FF played their second final in total. The 2015 Svenska Cupen Final was played on 17 May 2015. The match was played at Gamla Ullevi, the home ground of IFK Göteborg. It was the first time since 2011 that one of the final teams had a home ground instead of playing on the national stadium Friends Arena in Solna. It was the first time since 2000 that the final was played in Gothenburg and first time ever it was played on Gamla Ullevi. The final were the culmination of the 2014–15 Svenska Cupen. 2013 Svenska Cupen Final
The 2013 Svenska Cupen final was played on 26 May 2013. The match was played at the national stadium Friends Arena in Solna which was completed in November 2012 and hosted the final for the first time. The final made its return to Solna for the first time since 2009 and it was also be the first time since 2006 that the final was played at a neutral venue. The final was the culmination of the 2012–13 Svenska Cupen, and the first time since 2001 that the final was held in springtime. Allsvenskan clubs Djurgårdens IF and IFK Göteborg contested the 2013 final. In Sweden the match was televised live on SVT.
