2020 Segunda División B Play-offs
The 2020 Segunda División B play-offs (Playoffs de Ascenso or Promoción de Ascenso) are the final play-offs for promotion from 2019–20 Segunda División B to the 2020–21 Segunda División. The four first placed teams in each one of the four qualify for the promotion play-offs. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the relegation play-off was cancelled. Play-offs were played on 18 and 19 July as single-legged matches at a neutral venue. 2019–20 Segunda División B
The 2019–20 Segunda División B season was the 43rd since its establishment. Eighty teams participated, distributed in four groups of twenty clubs each. On 11 March 2020, the season of Segunda División B was suspended due to the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic in Spain. On 6 May 2020, the Royal Spanish Football Federation announced the premature end of the league, revoking all relegations and planning an eventual promotion playoff to be played if possible. Also, the expansion of the league to five groups of 20 teams each for the 2020–21 season (due to promotion from the curtailed Tercera División groups being applied) was approved.
