The 2020 Saint Louis FC season was the club's sixth and final season of existence, and their sixth consecutive season in the USL Championship, the second tier of American soccer. Saint Louis additionally competed in the U.S. Open Cup. This article covers the period from November 18, 2019, the day after the 2019 USLC Playoff Final, to the conclusion of the 2020 USLC Playoff Final, scheduled for November 12–16, 2020. Saint Louis FC was an American professional soccer team based in St. Louis, Missouri. The team was founded in May 2014, and competed in the USL Championship. The team played their matches at West Community Stadium, a venue inside the World Wide Technology Soccer Park. History SLSG Pro LLC (affiliated with St. Louis area youth club St. Louis Scott Gallagher) was awarded the USL Pro franchise on May 1, 2014. That same day, the club announced that they would play their home games at the 5,500 seat World Wide Technology Soccer Park in Fenton, Missouri. Dale Schilly, the youth club director of SLSG, was named head coach. On June 2, 2014, it was announced that the team's name was Saint Louis Football Club. Paris Donald Gee (born July 5, 1994) is a Canadian professional soccer player who plays as a defender for Vancouver FC in the Canadian Premier League. Todd Wharton (born February 8, 1994) is an American former soccer player. Career Youth and College Wharton played four years of college soccer at the University of Virginia between 2012 and 2015. During his stay at Virginia, Wharton was part of the team that won the 2014 NCAA National Championship. Brian Tyler Ownby (born July 16, 1990) is an American soccer player who currently plays for Louisville City in the USL Championship. Early life Personal Ownby was born in Glen Allen, Virginia to parents Steve and Andrea Ownby and has a younger brother named Eric. Lucas Oil Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana, United States. It replaced the RCA Dome as the home field of the National Football League (NFL)'s Indianapolis Colts and opened on August 16, 2008. Tyler Pasher (born 27 April 1994) is a Canadian professional soccer player who plays as a forward for Birmingham Legion in the USL Championship. Club Youth Pasher became a member of the Woolwich Soccer Association, of which his father Jeff was president, at age 6.
