The 2020 season was Brann's fifth season back in Eliteserien since their relegation at the end of the 2014 season. SK Brann
Sportsklubben Brann (commonly known as Brann, and less often as SK Brann) is a Norwegian professional football club, founded 26 September 1908, from Bergen. Brann had been in the Eliteserien, Norway's Premier Division of Football, since 1987, bar one season spent in the 1. divisjon in 2015, but they were relegated again in 2021. They play their home matches at Brann Stadion where they had a record-breaking 17,310 in average attendance in the 2007 season. In October 2007, Brann won the Norwegian league title for the first time since 1963. Vegard Valgermo Forren (born 16 February 1988) is a Norwegian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for KÍ Klaksvík. He was capped over 30 times for the Norway national team. Born in Kyrksæterøra, Forren was originally a youth player at local club KIL/Hemne, before starting his professional career with Molde in 2007.
