2020 Ole Miss Rebels Baseball Team
The 2020 Ole Miss Rebels baseball team represented the University of Mississippi in the 2020 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Rebels played their home games at Swayze Field. The final game played by the Rebels was on March 11 against Louisiana–Monroe. The season was suspended following that game due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States. Previous season The Rebels finished 41–27 overall, and 16–14 in the conference. The Rebels won the Oxford Regional in the 2019 NCAA Division I baseball tournament before losing in the Fayetteville Super Regional to Arkansas. 2019 MLB draft The Rebels had eight players and four signees selected in the 2019 MLB draft. Mike Bianco
Michael F. Bianco (born May 3, 1967) is an American baseball coach and former catcher, who is the current head baseball coach of the Ole Miss Rebels baseball, Ole Miss Rebels. He played college baseball at Indian River Community College before transferring to LSU Tigers baseball, LSU where he played for coach Skip Bertman from 1988 to 1989. Bianco served as the head coach of the McNeese State Cowboys baseball, McNeese State Cowboys (1998–2000) before being named head coach at Ole Miss. He has led the Rebels to two College World Series appearances (2014 College World Series, 2014 and 2022 College World Series, 2022), with Ole Miss winning their first national championship in 2022. Jupiter Community High School, also known as Jupiter High School and JHS, is a public high school in Jupiter, Florida, United States. JHS is a part of the School District of Palm Beach County and is the northernmost high school in Palm Beach County. There are over 3300 students enrolled in the school. Niceville Senior High School (NHS) is a public high school in the city of Niceville, Florida. It is ranked as the top high school within its high-performing Okaloosa County School District. In 1996 NHS was selected as one of 226 secondary schools (private and public) to be designated as a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence. Cy-Fair High School is a secondary school located in Cypress, which is an unincorporated place in Harris County, Texas, near Houston.
