2020 Montreal Impact Season
The 2020 Montreal Impact season was the club's 27th season of existence, and their ninth in Major League Soccer, the top tier of the American soccer pyramid. This was the last season as the Impact, as they are now known as Club de Foot Montréal. Around September and towards the end of the season, COVID-19 cross-border restrictions imposed by the Canadian government forced Montreal Impact to play the remaining home matches at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey. Red Bull Arena is a soccer-specific stadium in Harrison, New Jersey that is home to the New York Red Bulls of Major League Soccer and NJ/NY Gotham FC of the National Women's Soccer League. Jonathan Sirois (born June 27, 2001) is a Canadian soccer player who plays as a goalkeeper for Major League Soccer club CF Montréal. Early life Born in LaSalle, Quebec, Sirois grew up in Saint-Hubert, Quebec, where he played youth soccer with CS St-Hubert before moving to the Montreal Impact Academy in 2015, where he played for the U15, U17, and U19 teams. LA Galaxy, also known as the Los Angeles Galaxy, are an American professional soccer club based in the Los Angeles metropolitan area. Clément Diop Degoud (born 13 October 1993) is a Senegalese footballer who plays for Atlanta United in Major League Soccer.
