2020 Launceston International
The 2020 Launceston International was a professional tennis tournament played on hard courts. It was the sixth (men) and ninth (women) editions of the tournament which was part of the 2020 ATP Challenger Tour and the 2020 ITF Women's World Tennis Tour. Hardcourt
A hardcourt (or hard court) is a surface or floor on which a sport is played, most usually in reference to tennis courts. It is typically made of rigid materials such as asphalt or concrete, and covered with acrylic resins to seal the surface and mark the playing lines, while providing some cushioning. Historically, hardwood surfaces were also in use in indoor settings, similar to an indoor basketball court, but these surfaces are rare now. Tennis Tennis hard courts are made of synthetic/acrylic layers on top of a concrete or asphalt foundation and can vary in color. These courts tend to play medium-fast to fast because there is little energy absorption by the court, as with grass courts but unlike clay courts. Blake Ellis (born 6 January 1999) is an Australian tennis player. Ellis won the 2016 Australian Open boys' doubles alongside Alex De Minaur. Career 2014 – 2017: Senior Beginnings Ellis made his senior debut in October 2014 at the Australia F7, where he lost in round 1. Akira Santillan
is a Japanese born, Australian tennis player. Early life Santillan was born in Tokyo to a Japanese mother and a South African father of Spanish descent. He lived the first 8 years of his life in Japan before his family relocated to the Gold Coast, Australia and became citizens. He played much of his junior tennis at the Gold Coast before moving to Brisbane to join the national academy program at the Queensland Tennis Centre. Galović had previously represented Italy where he was raised but in 2014 switched back to his home country of Croatia. Liam Tarquin Broady (born 4 January 1994) is a tennis player and current British No. 6. Andrew Harris (born 7 March 1994) is an Australian professional tennis player from Melbourne. He was the winner of the junior doubles titles at the 2012 Wimbledon Championships and the Roland Garros Junior French Championship.
