Ilija Petković
Ilija Petković ( sr-Cyrl, Илија Петковић, ; 22 September 1945 – 27 June 2020) was a Serbian footballer and manager. Petković was capped 43 times for Yugoslavia, participating in the 1968 European Football Championship, and in the 1974 FIFA World Cup where he scored a goal in a huge 9–0 win against Zaire. He played much of his career in OFK Beograd, with a mid-career stint playing for Troyes. He began his coaching career in 1990 with his original club, OFK Beograd, and he went on to coach numerous other clubs. Initially starting as an assistant, Petković coached his national team from 2000 to 2001 and from 2003 to 2006 – including most notably the 2006 FIFA World Cup. Michael Ojo (basketball, Born 1993)
Michael Olalekan Ojo (January 5, 1993 – August 7, 2020) was a Nigerian-American professional basketball player. After competing in college basketball for the Florida State Seminoles, he played professionally for three seasons with Serbian clubs FMP and Crvena zvezda. Ojo died of a heart attack at the age of 27. Early life Born in Lagos, Nigeria, Ojo is the son of Olayinminu Ojo. Ojo attended Tennessee Temple Academy in Chattanooga, Tennessee. In 2012, he earned All-American Honors as a senior from the National Association of Christian Athletes and named to the All-Tournament Team at the National Association of Christian Athletes Tournament. As a senior, he averaged 15.0 points, 14.0 rebounds and 5.0 blocks per game. College career Ojo attended Florida State University. Miodrag Živković (sculptor)
Miodrag Živković (Serbian Cyrillic: Миодраг Живковић; 1928 – 31 July 2020) was a Serbian sculptor and university professor. He is well-known for his work on memorial complexes throughout Yugoslavia. Biography Živković was born in Leskovac. After moving to Belgrade with his family in 1944, he graduated from the Academy of Applied Arts in Belgrade in 1952. After working as an arts teaching instructor in Mladenovac and Novi Beograd, he was employed as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Applied Arts within the University of Arts in Belgrade, becoming Dean in 1974, a position he occupied until 1977. From 1977 to 1984 he was head of the Faculty's sculpture department. From 1991 to 1996 he was again Dean of the Faculty. He died in Belgrade on 31 July 2020. Milovan Stepandić ( sr-cyr, Милован Степандић; December 18, 1954 – January 15, 2020) was a Serbian professional basketball coach. Neda Arnerić
Neda Arnerić ( sr-cyr, Неда Арнерић; 15 July 1953 – 10 January 2020) was a Serbian film, stage and television actress, and politician. A graduate art historian, she was considered a sex symbol of Yugoslav cinematography. Personal life Neda Arnerić was born in Knjaževac. Her mother was an ethnic Serb, whilst her father was an ethnic Croat, who worked as military doctor, born on the island of Korčula. Her grandfather was from Rovinj, where she often spent summers. In 1980 she graduated from the University of Belgrade Faculty of Philosophy with a degree in Art History. In 1981 she married Serbian physician, Milorad Mešterović, who died in December 2018. They had no children. In February 2019, her brother Predrag found her unconscious, whereupon she spent 40 days at the Military Medical Academy in Belgrade. On 10 January 2020, she died aged 66.
