2020 Giro Dell'Emilia
The 2020 Giro dell'Emilia was the 103rd edition of the Giro dell'Emilia road cycling one-day race. It was held on 18 August 2020 as part of the 2020 UCI Europe Tour and the inaugural UCI ProSeries. Teams Twenty-five teams, consisting of eight UCI WorldTeams, eight UCI ProTeams, eight UCI Continental teams, and one national team, participated in the race. 2020 UCI Europe Tour
The 2020 UCI Europe Tour is the sixteenth season of the UCI Europe Tour. The 2020 season began on 25 January 2020 with the GP Belek and ended on 14 October 2020 with the 2020 Scheldeprijs, Scheldeprijs. Throughout the season, points are awarded to the top finishers of stages within stage races and the final general classification standings of each of the stages races and one-day events. The quality and complexity of a race also determines how many points are awarded to the top finishers, the higher the UCI rating of a race, the more points are awarded. Gianluca Brambilla (born 22 August 1987) is an Italian professional road bicycle racer, who currently rides for UCI ProTeam . He started his professional career in 2010 with . Career Born in Bellano, Brambilla began his professional career in 2010 with the team, moving to in 2013. He was also a member of the Ormesani Panni and Zalf Desirèe Fior teams as an amateur, winning numerous domestic races. Giovanni Visconti (born 13 January 1983) is an Italian professional road racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI ProTeam . Professional career Early career Born in Turin, Visconti won his first race in 2006 at the Coppa Sabatini. One year later, he won the Italian National Road Race Championships on 1 July 2007, beating Paolo Bossoni () and Davide Rebellin () at the end in a sprint. Giulio Ciccone (born 20 December 1994) is an Italian cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Jakob Diemer Fuglsang (born 22 March 1985) is a Danish professional road racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . The UCI Continental Circuits are a series of road bicycle racing competitions which were introduced in 2005 by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) to expand cycling around the world. 2020 UCI ProSeries
The 2020 UCI ProSeries is the inaugural season of the UCI ProSeries, the second tier road bicycle racing, road cycling tour, below the UCI World Tour, but above the various regional UCI Continental Circuits. The 2020 season initially consisted of 58 events of which 31 are one-day races (1.Pro) and 27 are stage races (2.Pro). There are 50 events in Europe, 5 in Asia, and 3 in America.
