2020 Georgian Cup
The 2020 Georgian Cup was a single elimination association football tournament which began in August 2020 and ended on 4 December 2020. The winner of the cup earned a place in the first qualifying round of the 2021–22 UEFA Europa Conference League. Saburtalo Tbilisi were the defending Georgian Cup champions after winning the final in the previous season over Locomotive Tbilisi by a score of 3–1. First round Eighteen first round matches were played on 20–24 August 2020. Second round Twelve second round matches were played on 24–30 August 2020. Third round Eight third round matches were played on 17–21 September 2020. Quarter finals Four quarter final matches were played on 26–27 September 2020. Semi finals Two semi final matches were played on 8 November 2020. Final The final was played on 4 December 2020. FC Sioni Bolnisi
FC Sioni is a Georgian football club based in Bolnisi. Following the 2022 season, they were relegated to Erovnuli Liga Liga 2, the second tier of Georgian league system. The team has once claimed the national league champion's title. Sioni plays their home matches at local stadium named after Tamaz Stepania. History The football club in Bolnisi was founded in 1936. FC Odishi 1919
FC Odishi 1919 is a Georgian association football club based in Zugdidi, the administrative centre of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti. Being a municipal club, they currently take part in Liga 4, the forth tier of Georgian league system. History On 20 May 1919 two students of Zugdidi gymnasium Leo Chedia and Pier Kobakhidze organized a first football match in the city with ''Mertskhali'' (Swallows) represented as a local team. This date is considered a birthday for football in Zugdidi. FC Zestafoni
Football Club Zestafoni is a Georgian football club based in Zestafoni. They play their home games at David Abashidze Stadium. Zestafoni was founded on 18 June 2004 by the initiative of the shareholders of JSC Giorgi Nikoladze Zestafoni Ferro-Alloy Plant. At that time Zestafoni have their own club FC Metallurg Zestafoni. FC Gori
FC Gori is a Georgian association football club, based in Gori, which competes in Liga 3, the third tier of Georgian football system. History Established in 2015, FC Gori to this day retains the status of a municipal non-commercial legal entity. Currently they are the only club to have been in the third division for the eight successive season. FC Egrisi Senaki
FC Egrisi is a Georgian association football club based in the town of Senaki. The club competes in Regionuli Liga, the fifth tier of Georgian football system. The team has played one season in the top flight. History The club had different names in 1940-60s and as Spartaki, Gantiadi, Tsiskari and Kolkheti participated in the Georgian domestic league. In the most memorable event in 1970, they won the republican Cup competition. Since then the football club has been competing under the current name. FC Metalurgi Rustavi
Metalurgi Rustavi is a defunct Georgian football team based in Rustavi, which has twice won the national league. In Soviet times, the club played under the name "Metalurgi" (Rustavi), then during the independence of Georgia, the club was called "Gorda" (Rustavi) and FC Rustavi.
