2020 FedEx Cup Playoffs
The 2020 FedEx Cup Playoffs, the series of three golf tournaments that determined the season champion on the U.S.-based PGA Tour, was played from August 20 to September 7. It included the following three events: * The Northern Trust – TPC Boston, Norton, Massachusetts * BMW Championship – Olympia Fields Country Club, Olympia Fields, Illinois *Tour Championship – East Lake Golf Club, Atlanta, Georgia This was the 14th FedEx Cup playoffs since their inception in 2007. 2019–20 PGA Tour
The 2019–20 PGA Tour was the 105th season (53rd since separating from the PGA of America) of the United States-based elite men's professional golf circuit. The season started on September 12, 2019. The 2020 FedEx Cup Playoffs began on August 20, and concluded on September 7, 2020, with Dustin Johnson winning the FedEx Cup. The season was effectively suspended on March 12 with the cancellation of the Players Championship after the first round due to growing concerns surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. Several more tournaments were later canceled or postponed, including all four major championships, the two remaining World Golf Championships and the Tokyo Summer Olympics. List Of Point Distributions Of The FedEx Cup
The following tables list the point distributions used in the FedEx Cup during the regular season and playoffs, as well as the ''starting score vs par'' element of the FedEx Cup's Tour Championship. Regular point distribution Only golfers who make the first cut for an event will receive points for that event. In case of a two-cut system (used if 78 or more players make the cut after two rounds), the low 70 and ties advance to the final round, and players who do not advance to the fourth round after the second cut receive points. At the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, where only 60 players make the cut after three rounds, players in the standings who do not make the cut and are between 61st and 70th (and ties) will also receive points. In case of a tie, point totals are added together and divided among all golfers tied for a particular position at the end of a tournament. Brooks Koepka (, born May 3, 1990) is an American professional golfer who plays on the LIV Golf tour. In October 2018, he became world number one in the Official World Golf Ranking for 47 weeks after winning the 2018 CJ Cup.
