The 2020 FC Ordabasy season was the 18th successive season that the club played in the Kazakhstan Premier League, the highest tier of association football in Kazakhstan. FC Ordabasy ( kk, Ордабасы футбол клубы) is a professional football club from Kazakhstan based at the K. Munaitpasov Stadium in Shymkent. Ordabasy was formed in 1949, following the merger of two existing Kazakhstan Premier League sides, ''FC Zhiger'' and ''FC Tomiris''. Viktor Nikolayevich Dmitrenko (russian: Виктор Николаевич Дмитренко; born 4 April 1991) is a professional footballer who plays as a defender for Caspiy. May Mahlangu (born 1 May 1989) is a South African professional footballer who plays as a central midfielder. Club career Early career Mahlangu joined the Stars of Africa Academy at age 15 and played for their team Alexandra United FC. Helsingborgs IF Bo Nilsson was the manager of Allsvenskan club Helsingborgs IF in 2008 and through his connections with the academy he brought over Mahlangu to Sweden. Aleksandar Simčević (; born 15 February 1987) is a Serbian professional footballer who plays as a defender for Železničar Pančevo. Club career After coming through the youth system of OFK Beograd, Simčević made his senior debut in the 2004–05 season.
