2020 Dallas Fuel Season
The 2020 Dallas Fuel season was the third season of the Dallas Fuel's existence in the Overwatch League. The Fuel planned to host a league-high five homestand weekends in the 2020 season at Esports Stadium Arlington, Toyota Music Factory, the Allen Event Center, and two more undetermined locations. While the first homestand at Esports Stadium Arlington took place, all other homestands were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. After a 7–10 start to the season and failure to make it past the quarterfinals in any of the three midseason tournaments, the Fuel released head coach Aaron "Aero" Atkins on August 3 and announced that assistant coach Kim Yong-jin served would as the interim head coach for the remainder of the season. Dallas finished the season with a 9–12 record, marking their third consecutive season with a losing regular season record. Esports Stadium Arlington (ESA) is a North American esports facility located in Arlington, Texas. The 100,000 sqft venue is the largest dedicated esports facility in North America and holds 2,500 spectators. Description Esports Stadium Arlington measures of total space and has the capacity to hold 2,500 seated spectators. History In March 2018, the city of Arlington announced plans to develop the largest esports stadium in the United States that was scheduled to open later that year. The project was collaboration between the city, Esports Venues LLC, which is owned by Texas Rangers co-owner Neil Leibman, Populous, who designed the stadium, and NGAGE Esports. Noh Yeong-Jin ( ko, 노영진), better known as Gamsu, is a South Korean professional ''League of Legends'' player. He began his professional esports career with ''League of Legends'', playing as a top laner for several teams, such as Fnatic, Team Dignitas, and Samsung Galaxy Blue. Noh transitioned to professional ''Overwatch'' in 2016, competing for CONBOX in the OGN APEX Series. 2020 Los Angeles Gladiators Season
The 2020 Los Angeles Gladiators season was the third season of Los Angeles Gladiators's existence in the Overwatch League and their third season under head coach David "dpei" Pei. The Gladiators planned to host two homestand weekends in the 2020 season, but all homestand matches were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Gladiators finished the season with 11 wins and 10 losses to claim the sixth seed in the North America region. On September 4, Los Angeles advanced to the season playoffs after 3–2 win over the Toronto Defiant in the North American Play-in tournament. In the first round of the North American playoffs, the Gladiators were swept by the Philadelphia Fusion, sending them to the lower bracket. Rogue is a professional esports organization with teams competing across several different titles in Europe and the United States. It has two ''League of Legends'' teams based in Europe: a main team that participates in the League of Legends European Championship (LEC), and an academy team that participates in Poland's national league, the Ultraliga.
